Our Mission

Wabash Economic Growth Alliance, Inc., WEGA, is a private, non-profit, focusing on economic development in rural communities.  We seek to improve economic access and competitiveness for rural residents and businesses.  Rural communities are some of the best places to live and work in Indiana.  It is our intent to celebrate rural life and foster growth for the next generation.

Today’s economic development efforts are more competitive than ever.  Most growing communities have strategic plans and full programs of initiatives to compete in the marketplace.  Achieving sustainable growth is a long-term effort that takes many years of investment to foster.  In this environment rural communities require similar plans and programs to remain viable.

To this end, we are innovating grass roots tools to help foster growth in Fountain County, Indiana and the surrounding region.

WEGA is a 501c3 nonprofit.  We work with local taxing jurisdictions, State and Federal grant agencies, and the business community however many initiatives require considerable funding and multiple sources.  

Adjacent is a sponsorship guide to better explain our current needs.  All sponsorship donations go directly to the initiative of your preference.  We do not use these funds for WEGA management.
