Products

Local maker goods from new Food and Artisan retailers.

Today, mass manufactured and distributed products are easily accessible online. Few lack access to retail goods. Along with convenience however, comes the sterile transaction of online sales and delivery. For many, retail is a social contract and connection. “Getting stuff” may be practical it isn’t that much fun.

S. Perry Market provides a retail venue for customers to connect with maker retailers. It also provides a place for new retailers to learn their trade and test products. Retailers switch out based on their need, and there are always more coming in, so the customer experience is rich with variety. All retailers are either startups or existing retailers testing products.

Fast Casual Foods

Fast Casual retailers provide foods for picked up or for eating on property outside in several dining areas.  The retailer prepares product off-site in commercially certified kitchens and uses grills, ovens, countertop equipment etc. to serve inside their Market store.  Product selections vary considerably based on the retailer’s focus.

Baked Goods

Baked goods are prepared fresh daily, off-site for sale and serving in the retail store.  Retailers focus on flavor, natural ingredients and quality presentations.

Sweets

Sweets includes a wide variety of sweet food products including candies, cookies, tarts, creams, drinks etc.  Retailers prepare off-site and replenish daily.  They also prepare off-site and make on-site as long as they can do so without a fryer or vented exhaust hood.

Specialty Foods

Specialty foods include unique offerings in a wide range of food categories.  These foods are notable for their inspired quality, presentation and innovation.  Some refer to the food in this category as fancy or gourmet.  The offerings vary based on the retailer’s focus.

Art + Jewelry

Art and Jewelry is a wide category of products locally made and often sold by the artisan.  Each item is one of kind.  The price points and inventory may vary.

Home Furnishings

The home furnishings available in the Market are locally produced items celebrating local makers.  The items range from dish ware and pottery to quilts and furniture.  Products imported for resale are not allowed in the Market.

Botanicals

Botanicals are products made from parts of plants — the leaves, flowers, seeds, bark, roots, twigs, or other parts. They provide curative effects that alleviate some ailments and enhance health, healing and wellbeing.  These products are consumable and made from local ingredients.
